Life-long nudist, introduced my wife to nudism and we have a nudist family.

I don’t get it.
This is the third incarnation of Nudistworld here on tumblr. Nudistworld3 has been up and running for more than a year, since June of 2013. The first version, Nudistworld, was nuked with no warning of any kind and no explanation given.
The second version, Nudistworld-new, created after the original Nudistworld was removed, was itself nuked with no warning of any kind and no explanation offered, but I pestered the hell out of tumblr for a very long time before FINALLY being told it was because it contained images of minors.
Nudistworld has NEVER posted any erotic or sexual image of a minor. We don’t have garbage like that and don’t tolerate it.
We believe that Nudism and Naturism are healthy and natural ways of life for the whole FAMILY. We believe in and promote NON-sexual, FAMILY friendly Nudism. There were images that contained minors with their families at nudist beaches, resorts, and in their homes. I see all of those same images on Family Oriented Nudist blogs today, right here on tumblr! I have clicked “like” on many of them to support promoting family friendly nonsexual nudism and the nudist blogs that do so. I just won’t post anything like that on Nudistworld. I do not understand why our blog has been nuked 2x for the very same images that have hundreds of notes and are posted on other family nudist blogs. A few of those images still show that originally, they were posted by Nudistworld! This is frustrating and feels like we are being singled out.
The second version of Nudistworld was nuked in early 2013, and yet today I received a content violation notice regarding THAT version of the blog! When tumblr nukes a blog, you cannot access it in any way shape or form ever again. You cannot edit or remove anything at all. You cannot even see it.
The email address used to create the blog is permanently barred from being used to create any other blogs on tumblr. You have no ability to see the content in question and replies/appeals/questions to support are often ignored. The “content policy violation” I received today contained a clickable link to the content that was removed that when clicked, took me to a page indicating nothing more than the blog didn’t exist anymore. It did not show me the content in question.
I have no idea what the content they referenced in their notice today actually was. There is no way to get them to advise me either as I have asked repeatedly in the past with zero success. I never received any content policy violation notices prior to the earlier versions of Nudistworld being nuked by tumblr, even though I have seen such on other blogs. In the place of the content originally posted, there is simply an image stating the content was removed for violating content policy. It is similar to the “removed at copyright holders request” notices. Nothing like that ever happened on any version of Nudistworld.
So, fellow nudist bloggers… Be cautious in your posting! It appears that if your blog is nuked, it is still actually there and you will be unable to do anything about the content that someone objected to long, long ago! “Bare” in mind that once nuked, you will NOT know what content objected to was, you will NOT be able to edit or remove it, you will not be able to access the blog in any way shape or form, and you will likely NOT get an answer from tumblr support.
Behavior like this makes me want to rent my own server again and try creating a safe place for nudist families.
Does anyone know of a blog service that doesn’t have these issues and would be safe to use for non-sexual, family oriented nudism?
Just posted (and DELETED) a question posted by someone that asked for suggestions for a good family nudist resort to take their family to. After publishing their question, I checked their tumblr page and the first thing I saw was graphic gifs of sex. So, no- not posting their question linked to their account.
Nudistworld tries to make sure what we post does not trail back to pages with graphic sexual content. We are promoting family friendly nudism for all ages, and thus we strive to keep pornography out of our “loop”.
The person posing the question did not state where they are or where they wish to go on this vacation (Country/Region/State/Province etc.) however, if you have a FAMILY FRIENDLY club or resort you would like to suggest, please do so in the comments for this post.
Where would you send a nudist family for a vacation?
As our Nation celebrates Independence Day, I ask my fellow Americans to do one thing today…
Stop. Just for a moment. Take a breather from the grill, the drinks, and the festivities. Before the fireworks command everyone’s attention, pause and dwell on why this day is celebrated.
We The People were no longer willing to suffer under the yoke of a tyrant that ruled unilaterally. There was not a single effective check or balance against his tyrannical rule other than… We The People.
We overthrew a tyrant that did as he pleased and to hell with anyone and everyone that didn’t agree. A tyrant that taxed, and taxed, and taxed some more. He usurped good sense and our God given rights.
We the People put our collective foot down and said “No more.”
The framers of the Declaration of Independence pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. Consider that for a moment.
Could you do that? Place it ALL on the line to secure freedom for you and your fellow man? To secure the blessings of liberty even for those who don’t like you and disagree with you?
Your life. Yep, YOUR life. Your Honor… you know, your reputation, how trustworthy and honorable you are; and yes, that is sacred. And your fortune. YOUR fortune. Everything you own. House, cars, money in the bank, personal possessions- EVERYTHING. All to throw off the yoke of tyranny and usher in an age of freedom and a new nation the likes of which had not been seen before. And do this without seeking to keep power? To hand that which you risked all to obtain off to the People?
Approximately 3% of the colonists did exactly that. Yes… 3%. That means for every 100 colonists, only about 3 took up arms and actively fought against the tyrant. And look what they achieved.
So enjoy today. Enjoy the friends, the fireworks, the food. But most of all… Enjoy your Freedom. And take a moment to remember those who risked it all to place this freedom in your hands.
